Our Recipe for Success

Hydration & Nutrition

includes drinking about one ounce of water per body weight and fueling your next activity with healthy calories to prepare your body for the Colorado journey ahead..

Recovery & Flexibility

includes 8-10 hours of sleep a night and a variety of tools to reduce risk of injury, such as Reflective Performance Reset, NeuroAthlete.com and NeuroTrainingEducation.com.

Growth Mindset

includes allowing youth to struggle safely and practice doing courageous things through the uncomfortable situations that the sport of wrestling provides.

Technique & Tactics

includes folkstyle, freestyle and greco roman wrestling styles. Our coaches are experienced and certified through USA Wrestling® and United World Wrestling®.

Strength & Conditioning

includes current science-based training for female and male athletes that are guided by the 2024 NSCA® High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year, who also wrestled at Lock Haven University.

Sports Psychology

includes a variety of healthy tools to help teens develop resilience: journaling, goal setting, vision mapping, breathing techniques, meditation, visualization, pre-performance routines, and emotional recovery.
