Coach Cory Carter

Coach Carter takes over as the Head Coach for Boys Wrestling 2021-2022 Season at Vista Ridge High School, after serving as an Assistant Coach for the boy’s and girl’s programs since 2017. Coach Carter earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, class of 2015, where he also wrestled for the DII Orediggers throughout. Coach Cory is a graduate of Sand Creek High School, class of 2010, where he was coached by Coach Troy Bonewell and Coach Eric Everard. Coach Bonewell also coached Cory at Skyview Middle School. Even though Coach Bonewell retired in 2021, he will still volunteer and help mentor Coach Carter. Having known Cory for over 15 years, we are confident that he will continue to build upon the family culture of success he helped to develop since joining our Wolfpack.

Coach Tori Adams

Coach Tori Adams takes over as the Head Coach and Alpha Wolf for Girls Wrestling 2021-2022 Season at Vista Ridge High School, after serving as an Assistant Coach for the boy’s and girl’s programs since 2017. Coach Adams is truly a pioneer for women’s wrestling, having been a National Team Member and Olympic Training Center Resident for the inaugural 2004 USA Womens Wrestling Team here in Colorado Springs. She is the 2009 World Grappling Champion, placed 3rd and 5th in the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Trials respectively, earned a Bronze Medal at the 2002 Junior World Championships, a 2002 NAIA National Champion for Missouri Valley College, a Texas Wrestling Hall of Fame Inductee, 2-time High School National Champion, and 4-time Texas High School State Champion. Coach Adams is also a mother with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology.

Coach Justin Loudon

Coach Justin Loudon is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and teaches Physical Education at Vista Ridge High School since 2018. Coach Loudon was selected as the NHSSCA Coach of the Year for the State of Colorado in January 2021. Coach Loudon plans and leads our strength and conditioning program throughout the year, including morning workouts throughout season. Prior to joining our Wolfpack Family, Coach Loudon was the Head Wrestling Coach at Palmer Ridge High School and continues to coach mixed martial arts. As a Division I wrestler for Lock Haven University, Coach Loudon placed 5th in the conference his senior year. He has coached over 30 student-athletes to compete at the college level with over 10 attending Division I programs. In addition to teaching and coaching, he also loves woodworking, hunting and fishing.
